Résumé

Senior Yield & Process Engineer with 21+ years’ total work experience at Intel and global pharmaceutical organisations, specialising in yield optimisation, process robustness, and operational excellence within high-volume, mission-critical manufacturing environments. I have a proven track record of solving complex technical challenges, improving reliability, and delivering significant cost and performance gains.

I bring strong expertise in data-driven decision-making, applying SPC, DoE, JMP, and SQL to identify root causes, optimise processes, and enhance yield and product quality. My work spans technology transfer, product ramp-up, and advanced process control, with a consistent focus on right-first-time execution and continuous improvement.

Recognised for my collaborative leadership style, I work effectively across engineering, operations, and business teams to drive alignment and deliver results. I am passionate about mentoring, knowledge sharing, and supporting diversity in STEM, particularly through initiatives that empower women in engineering.

I hold a PhD in Organic Chemistry from the University of Bordeaux and was selected for a prestigious EU-funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellowship, led by University of Cambridge and delivered through a pan-European network of 10 universities.

Currently exploring new opportunities to apply my experience in operational excellence and reliability within advanced engineering, data centre, or cloud environments, with a long-term goal of progressing into senior leadership roles.

Goal: Advancing RNA-based therapeutics and using dynamic chemical systems to drive innovation in drug discovery.

Medicinal Chemistry Research:
Research in dynamic combinatorial chemistry (DCC), nucleobase recognition, and oligonucleotide synthesis. My research was part of an EU Marie Skłodowska-Curie collaborative project across 10 universities, including the University of Cambridge, focusing on developing novel nucleoside-based systems for therapeutic applications. Experienced in designing and synthesising nucleoside building blocks for RNA-targeted therapies and applying analytical techniques such as HPLC, NMR, mass spectrometry, and surface plasmon resonance (SPR) for purification, characterisation, and binding studies.

Key Skills & Expertise:

Nucleoside & Oligonucleotide Synthesis: Extensive experience in the chemical synthesis, purification, and structural characterisation of modified nucleosides for RNA-targeted therapeutics, including antisense technology and siRNA development.

Dynamic Combinatorial Chemistry: Skilled in designing adaptive molecular systems using DCC, with expertise in nucleobase recognition through enzyme-free self-assembly on DNA templates.

Analytical & Spectroscopic Techniques: Proficient in HPLC, NMR, MS, and SPR for compound analysis, quality control, structural validation, and studying molecular interactions.

Laboratory Best Practices: Demonstrated excellence in maintaining accurate, detailed lab records and adhering to regulatory and research protocols.

Collaboration & Communication: Strong background in presenting research findings to cross-functional teams, contributing to interdisciplinary projects, and participating in international research collaborations.

Research awarded under the prestigious €2 million European Union Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Network Scholarship
